The Process Communication Model® is an award-winning tool for decoding human interaction, developed by clinical psychologist, Dr. Taibi Kahler. As a researcher of transactional analysis, he uncovered patterns of distress behavior that all humans possess and identified conditions that individuals need to thrive.
Along the way, Dr. Kahler also identified six Personality Types that we all have within us and can connect to. Understanding these types lets us predict our own and others’ behaviors, prevent disengagement or distrust, and boost changes for the better. By practicing PCM, we can observe and identify our own and other people's preferences.
How it works ?
Be aware of your personality
Understanding your preferences means knowing what energizes you and what ticks you off.

Adapt your communication style
In order to make a genuine connection that feels good for both of you.

Recognize what other people do, say, and show
These observations inform you about people’s preferences and the best way to connect.

Build happier relationships
With everyday interactions, at work and at home, every day.

PCM differentiates among six personality types, which we all have within us:
Thinker, Persister, Rebel, Promoter, Harmonizer, and Imaginer.

A different combination of the six types takes center stage in every one of us.
